ENSLD 300-420 v1.1

Designing Cisco Enterprise Networks. 90 minutes. Concentration exam for CCNP Enterprise; passing it on its own also earns the Cisco Certified Specialist, Enterprise Design.

ENSLD is a design exam. Questions give you requirements and constraints and ask which design fits, so each page ends with a design exercise instead of a config lab. Protocol mechanics are taught in the ENCOR and ENARSI modules, and the ENSLD pages link back to them and spend their words on choices and trade-offs.

Overlap with ENCOR and ENARSI

Most ENSLD topics were covered in ENCOR or ENARSI at configuration or troubleshooting depth: OSPF, EIGRP and BGP, FHRPs, STP, SD-Access, SD-WAN, MPLS L3VPN, DMVPN, QoS, multicast, NETCONF and RESTCONF. ENSLD adds IS-IS, addressing plans, IPv6 migration, WAN service selection, GET VPN, telemetry and cloud connectivity, and asks you to choose between options rather than configure them.
